Tornado in Joplin, Missouri
Over the weekend, Joplin, Missouri was the latest to be effected by a tornado on Sunday; destroying churches, schools, businesses, homes and most importantly, lives (Radar Online). As of now, it has been stated so far, that 116 people have died in the storm that tore a six mile long, half mile path through the Missouri city.
Search and rescue crews are continuing to search for survivors in the area with a population of around 50,000 people which sits about 160 miles south of Kansas City.
