Wale ft. Miguel – Lotus Flower Bomb (Ambition)
You know I rarely do a post about a song that I think is just plain out jammin. But this joint ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’ >(Ambition) by Maybach Music rapper Wale ft. R&B crooner Miguel is SICK. Not that I think Wale is spitting heavy lyrics, however the track and the melodies, thanks to Miguel makes the track what it is. And this is no diss to Wale, because Wale is a dope artist. I just hope he sticks with what he knows how to do best and not get so comformed with trying to blend in with whatever else is going on at Maybach Music. A lot of artists become watered down by label politics. They might even have a one hit/one album sucess because of that. However, that’s always a gamble as they put their career on the line doing what someone else wants them to do, the way someone else wants them to do it.
