Nas Talks Balancing Rap, Fatherhood and Using the N-Word on CNN
Nas understands the art of building press before the release of an album. The rapper made headlines for the controversial cover for his new album, Life Is Good. In the photo, he is seen holding his former wife’s green wedding. Nas later revealed that Kelis took everything out of their house and only left the wedding dress.
H has also garnered attention for his new song “Daughter.” In the ode to fatherhood, Nas raps about being a parent to a teenage daughter while balancing life as a rap star.
Nas recently was a guest on CNN and discussed the song and his use of profanity in lyrics.
