Azealia Banks Takes Shots At Jim Jones On ‘Succubi’

Azealia Banks and Jim Jones continue to be at odds with each other over the origins of “vamping.” The Harlem rappers have exchanged in a back-and-forth tiff on Twitter that began last week when Azealia tweeted, “VAMP: a very sexually/financially powerful woman who is usually characterized by a penchant for dark things; nighttime, witchcraft,” and today it continued with her dis track “Succubi.”
Jimmy, who has created a hard work mentality which he dubs “Vampire Life,” took offense and said to Banks. “tht vamplife is contagious” to which she responded that the notion of “vamping” hails from fashion and pre-dates Jones. “yea I know! I wrote 212 in 2011 before ur song tho. That vamp shit is some fashion stuff as well. In case u didn’t know.”
The two then continued to throw digs at each other. Jim added “u better check th credits boo we ain’t just start vampin we are vampin u r welcome to join its a lifestyle #vampirelife” and Azealia tweeted ”please go away.” Jimmy even threw in, ” tell ur mother go away ub2 bit slore” to Azealia.
Today, both kept the fires burning with what appeared to be subliminal shots at one another on Twitter. Azealia tweeted “#np – “ballin” – Jim jones” and “lol @ 2bit slore…. THIS! ni–a.. LMFAOO,” while Jim tweeted, “Lol th things broke people do to gain attention #vampirelife after/
Azealia is no stranger to controversy and fights on social media. Just last week, she apologized to fellow rapper Kreayshawn for one of her previous outbursts. Banks reached out to Kreayshawn via Twitter explaining that the feud was just a misunderstanding. “@KREAYSHAWN I apologize for coming down on you so hard earlier this year,” she tweeted. “I missunderstood that pornhub rt. I can be really defensive sometimes. I’m just naturally rude. LMFAOO it’s a NY thing… I can’t help it,” she wrote. The “212″ rapper even offered up a collaboration, “@KREAYSHAWN lets collab. Let’s throw @NativeRaeen in the mix there tooo”. Kreayshawn gladly agreed responding, “I’m down!!! FIRE FUEGO!!”.
