50 Cent imitates Lil Wayne’s deposition video when speaking about MMG Gunplay
The funniest video ever done by a hip hop artist was the deposition of Lil Wayne when going through the lawsuit matter against QD3 . Wayne lost the counter-suit, however one could never forget the footage of Lil Wayne seeming to threaten Quincy Jones III’s lawyer, Peter Ross when asked a certain question, to which Wayne’s response was “I was talking to myself”, amongst other things. G-Unit honcho, 50 Cent must had thought it was hilarious too, as he imitated Wayne when speaking about Maybach Music (Rick Ross) rapper, Gunplay. During the interview with Booska-P, a french rap website, 50 talked growth as an artist/entrepreneur, Mobb Deep’s fans turning against them, ending beef with Fat Joe (Terror Squad), etc.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians show executives may try to do a spend off, however that won’t last.

Anyway, congratulations Ms. Kim Jones, HAPPY 16th Anniversary and thanks for making one of the dopest hip hop albums ever coming from a woman.

November, 2008 when then Senator Barack Obama was elected President of the United States of America in his win against Senate John McCain, had to be one of the proudest moments of modern black and American history. The face of America changed right before our very eyes and many were proud of being alive to witness something so momentous. Fast forward to four years later, the joy is much louder as President Barack Obama has been re-elected and will seat four more years in office in his presidency due to his victory over Republican candidate Mitt Romney. A joyous moment for many but dissatisfying for some, and a chance to ridicule, point fingers and make slay comments for others, not absent of Donald Trump.
When President Barack Obama won his first presidential run-off, there were comments such as “black people no longer have an excuse” and “Barack Obama is the black people’s reparation for slavery”. On one hand, President Obama’s win does indeed mean much for black people concerning American history in government. But does his re-election count for all this black? Not in my book. Though exceedingly proud, his win doesn’t change the hate in people’s heart concerning black people in general. Even the hate that “closet racists” have spill out, and will do so for the next four years. I don’t see society being less messed up for blacks than before anyone ever knew who a BARACK OBAMA was. The police will still hate us. We’ll still be seen as ‘N—gers’, even though our ancestors built the great country America with their own blood, sweat and tears. Job opportunities will still be at minimum for us, even if qualified. Sorry if I seem like a pessimist; yet I’m just stating the facts. If looking at what his re-election mean today, than I’d say, it means he and his family can enjoy the wealth of their ancestor’s labor. And though many of our black ancestors never stepped foot on nor off a slave ship, we share in the burden for the pain the was caused as well as the joy of what strength allows us to conquer.
Congratulations to President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Bidden and the Obama/Bidden family.

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion ‘La La La’ MartaCard.com video premiere
It was during a recent trip to Jamaica to which rap legend, Snoop Dogg made a transformation into Snoop Lion, now embracing the Rastafari movement. Snoop promise there is to be much to come of it, and to signal it, a few months back, he dropped his first single ‘La La La’ under the Snoop Lion moniker. Now, he just released the official for the title track, and perhaps now it’s official.
In the introduction for the video, Lion is surrounded by children who either seem to have a liking for Lion, Dogg or both. Well, this led to a ritual-like ceremony to which there was a funeral to signal of the death of Snoop D-O double G. as Snoop was closed into a casket holding a dog, only for him to appear resurrected adore a lion’s skullcap, signaling his transformation into Snoop Lion. It’s a fun celebratory video indeed, yet the D-O double G. will be missed however. But for those whom rocks with Snoop, will get used to the Lion. By the way, be on the look out for Snoop Lion’s ‘Reincarnated’ album coming soon.

In the short video, Snoop ran through some of his classics (notice I said some, as there are too many to name) such as Drop It Like It’s Hot, Young, Wild & Free and La La La, the debut single from his forthcoming album Reincarnated. He also got up and personal with some of his fans, allowing them to come backstage for a personal interview with the Dogg aka Lion. One fan that made her way backstage is this chick named Bianca. Happy she was she to meet the S-N double O P. as she got the chance to speak with him personally as well as getting graced with a kiss on the cheeks plus an autograph signed by the king of West Coast. “Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash!,” he tweeted Tuesday (October 23) night.
“The game Documentary even 50 get rich or die trying lived up to the hype and were classics. Good kid is trash!”

Many also receive a great amount of ridicule from either the public, organizations, whether religious, community or political. Speaking of religious organization, how about rapper Game’s cover art for his upcoming Jesus Piece album. It’s his final contractual album with Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope Records. And perhaps, he wants to go out with a BANG! Consequently, having Jesus adored like a ‘religious gangbanger’ may not sit well with Christian groups as there has been much ridicule about this matter. But who knows. There’s may be a subliminal message Game wants to get out, such as Jesus’ love for all men; be it gang members, pimps, prostitutes, etc. On the other hand, would any artist be so bold to make the Islamic prophet Muhammad seem so sacrilegious? Kurupt’s a beast and can outdo any emCee on the West Coast. In most recent news concerning the Good ‘Doctor’, he alongside Bigg Snoop Dogg has been rocking the Coachella 2012 Festival. It’s quite befitting being that it’s the 20 yr. anniversary for the original Chronic album, to which both Dr. Dre and at the time named, ‘Snoop Doggy Dogg’ introduced the world to that West Coast G-Funk sound on their past Deathrow Records label, which Dre co-founded with Suge Knight. Dre and Snoop has been rocking Coachella. Of course the one time Deathrow Records signee, the late Tupac Shakur was resurrected from his ashes for the festival as well. Yet Dre promised that the usage of the Tupac hologram is ‘only’ for Coachella.

BREAKING NEWS: Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin Gunned Down
Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin, known for his Brick Squad Monopoly affiliation with Waka Flocka Flame, was reportedly gunned down Friday (December 16) in a Georgia recording studio. It has been reported that the shooting took place as he was on his way to a photo shoot. He later died at the Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta, GA). Atlanta Police Department investigation say that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was fatally shot in the chest at around 5:30 P.M. after he got involved in a verbal altercation with another individual.
Police are still searching for the murder weapon and possible suspects.
Maj. Keith Meadows said police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building in southeast Atlanta at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places. “We’ve questioned a number of witnesses inside the recording studio at this time.” Meadows said. Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening. (CBS News)
