United Surveilled America
Obama says that he feels that he has not violated personal freedoms, 1st, or 4th Amendment with the Prism program. New laws(the Patriot Act) and state laws (ordinances against sleeping in public parks) are used to trump the Constitution and the rights of the people. The courts tried to use a similar argument(state law against sleeping in the parks, trumps our right to peacefully assemble) when suppressing riots here in America, which they champion in foreign countries, under the threat of military intervention. This same argument of state law trumping federal law could be used to pass marijuana legislation on a state by state case.
Apple says that it received 5,000 data requests from the government last year. This is where the government admits to pouring over call data but not actually call information. These requests can be National Security, helping to assist in a criminal investigation, locating a child, or one of the hundreds of bureaucratic reasons that the government gives to snoop.
Obama knows that some people are uneasy about the programs, but like all political scandals he welcomes a limited political debate where the people still have no power(only bureaucracy can write legislation) .He claims that terrorists attacks have been stopped by the network, but at what costs. He continued a Bush era surveillance program, that steps on the worlds civil rights.
This is a scary program,once you look at it. The government basically controls all phone, internet, and communication data in the world. One rogue person, worker, bureaucrat, hacker, or business has the potential to access all of the worlds secrets at a push of the button. The government has access to all of your videos, private pictures, numbers, and a picture of all of your activities at it’s fingertips. It’s like building a personal data network on each individuals electronic actions, autonomously through a computer program or PRISM. This system could be used for intimidation, trade secret theft, blackmail, and for inside information to play the markets. Oversight on secret programs like this are usually very relaxed, because only a handful know their true purposes.
I am surprised that more people have not expressed more alarm at this program. We are knowingly and unknowingly handing our lives over to the government. The government started the program in secrecy. ,but once we receive the information it is our time to react. The government can essentially act as a gatekeeper of information and steal what information it can from the poor under the disguise of National Security. The government could have access to all of the information on energy, weapons, innovation, and technology by looking for key words in conversations. The pursuit of terrorists and the protection of the USA from future attacks may cost us more than electronic monitoring, it may cost us our intellectual futures.

I Do – 30 Years Later
Last month, my uncle purchased red envelope valentines gifts for wife and today she sported the jewelry for the first time. The bracelet and necklace set drew plenty of attention at the Sunday dinner. After 30 years, they are still hanging in there. Sometimes I wonder what would married life be like for me. A person that normally makes decisions alone, compromising with a significant other on daily bases. Hats off to all the happily married couples that are working together as one.

So He Found A Job
I can’t believe my nephew Scott has finally found a job! For a person that wouldn’t work in a pie factory, how long will he last in the construction field. For Christmas, I bought him some heavy duty tillman gloves. I know the gloves will last longer than his job, but hopefully he will keep this one for a long time. He should understand that he’s fortunate to find a job during these tough times.

Relax and Chill
This is going to be a very busy week for me. I’m going to be ripping and running with last minute Christmas shopping. Also, I’ll be working long hours trying to make a few more dollars this holiday season. In other words, I’ll be on my grind from sun up to sun down. Tonight however, I’m going to relax and chill.
While listening to Big Sean’s “Marvin and Chardonnay“, I might as well put this bottle on ice for now. I have a friend coming over tonight and I want the mood to be just right. She likes hiphop, so I already have my playlist together. I’ll start things with a little Wiz Khalifa because she love to smoke. Then, I’ll mix things up with a little Snoop Dogg, and you know I got to put “The Cronic” on rotation too. Hopefully, I can get her to decorate my Christmas tree while I watch the football game. If she play her role, I might have something special for her tonight. Big things come in small packages but I have a big package for her, if you know what I mean. After our third glass of Chardonnay, I’ll throw on some Trey Songz and see how she respond to that. It’s cool being a bachelor but this one is on my keepers list.

My brother Keith works with heavy equipment and Hydraulic Power Units at a factory in Macon. He doesn’t get a chance to do much nowadays since they are working twelve hour shifts. Standards we set for one another
There’s a standard that society has set for us to live up to. And these days, you’re a lame if you go against it. Seems as if the immoral has become the norm in the world of our youth. Yet are we to blame them? And if we are not to blame them, do we teach them differently? If so, then how?
How to say something is more important that what to say. Or what one is saying isn’t sometimes the problem. Yet the problem seems to be whom is saying it. Teens would rather hear correction from a friend’s parents than their own as friends would rather hear what they preacher’s opinion about a situation than to hear it from their friend, though they might say the same thing as the preacher.
Therefore, what must we do? I’ve known parents whom said that they can’t say anything to their children about the wrong they’re doing when they used to do the same thing when they were their children’s age. “So you mean to tell me that you’ll allow your child to walk out in the streets in front of moving traffic with a high risk of getting hit by a vehicle than to fear they’ll get upset with you for trying to keep them from potential dangers ahead? ”
A Jewish proverbs says “train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” It doesn’t say the child won’t get angry or perhaps cuss you out. (Slap them in the mouth if they do, as that’s a part of the training. LOL) Yet whatever you train your child to be, they will be. Train a woman to be promiscuous then she shall be. Train a boy to become a responsible man then watch the fruit of your labor.

Big homie Timmy D aka Madd Maxx passed away from a heart attack early this morning. A Mays High and FVSU alumni, Timmy D was a popular dude in the city of Atlanta. Timmy D wasn’t just a name, he was also a brand. Once a year Timmy and his potnas would conjugate at West Manor park and throw a lil something on the grill. No matter how many people showed up, there would be enough food, drinks, and dro for everybody. What started out as a Mays, Therrell, and Douglass gathering soon drew guest from all over the state. Dro Day was born. The Martacard family would like to give our condolences to the family of Timmy Davis. RIP Timmy D!!!

I might do like Lil Wayne, Shaq, and other celebrities and move to Miami for the winter time. I’m already online searching for rental homes and hopefully I find something soon. I love my city “ATLANTA” but I’m ready to try something different this year. Who knows, I might make Miami my second home. I hear some nice looking chicks are often found lounging on South Beach on the daily. I think I can get used to that scenery very quickly……

Recently, “FRIEND” asked me to follow them on their Blog, so I read their Blog and sent the Friend a message stating “I read the Blog but I don’t think I will be following you”. My FRIEND then ask me to explain. I answered, “because it is not he complete truth, but good luck” this FRIEND replied at the same point of me responding “is it personal?” I replied, “yep” “so I dont think it would be a good idea to follow you” the FRIEND replied ‘Who has the complete truth on life?” I then said “you have the truth on your life, but it seems WE sometimes omit people and or events” ” so from that please respect my choice not to follow you, and in the end it is because I AM your FRIEND” m y FRIEND then began to say some very negitive things to me. I am now so heated, and this event has sparked a fire in me to focus more on the task that I had begun, and that is to always strive to be honest with myself. It is up to the other person to be able to accept me being honest or not to accept. I will focus on finishing writing my book so others will able to peek into my life, and witness my life through my eyes. I feel the choice I made to be honest with my self is the hardest lesson I have learned more so than forgivenes of self and others. Being honest has made me aware of when to speak how to speak. I will pick this up again later..my brain is wondering right now.

Getting into Law School has been one of the greatest joys of my young life. The fact that it’s already over really makes me sad and I am starting to see that life passes in the blink of an eye. It seems like just yesterday I was applying for College and moving into my dorm room. Life moves at the speed of light but there are some good things that come when you finish a certain stage of life and move onto another one. For instance, I just landed a new job that I’m really excited about and I found a new place to live right downtown. I am not use to having everything within walking distance of my house. As I get older, I am also starting to see that the little things in life bring you the most joy, for instance my mom sent me an email that advised me on things I should do for my new house the first thing on the list was texaselectricityproviders.COM I had never thought about the importance of which energy provider I choose but I guess I had to learn some time.
