Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion ‘La La La’ MartaCard.com video premiere
It was during a recent trip to Jamaica to which rap legend, Snoop Dogg made a transformation into Snoop Lion, now embracing the Rastafari movement. Snoop promise there is to be much to come of it, and to signal it, a few months back, he dropped his first single ‘La La La’ under the Snoop Lion moniker. Now, he just released the official for the title track, and perhaps now it’s official.
In the introduction for the video, Lion is surrounded by children who either seem to have a liking for Lion, Dogg or both. Well, this led to a ritual-like ceremony to which there was a funeral to signal of the death of Snoop D-O double G. as Snoop was closed into a casket holding a dog, only for him to appear resurrected adore a lion’s skullcap, signaling his transformation into Snoop Lion. It’s a fun celebratory video indeed, yet the D-O double G. will be missed however. But for those whom rocks with Snoop, will get used to the Lion. By the way, be on the look out for Snoop Lion’s ‘Reincarnated’ album coming soon.

And if there was once person whom knows how to mix the two so well, it’s Kurupt Young Gotti, 1/2 of Tha Dogg Pound and long time friend of Calvin ‘Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion’ Broadus. Kurupt’s a beast and can outdo any emCee on the West Coast. Rupt was born in Philadelphia yet moved to Inglewood, California in his early teens where he met Snoop then went on to help formulate one of the most notorious hip hop labels ever at that time, Deathrow Records (Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger). It’s 2012 and he’s about to drop his new mixtape entitled “Money Bitches Power”, as he teamed up with Los Angeles mixtape DJ, Mike Bean.
The first single off the mixtape is Money (Do It For Me) featuring the legendary RBX, production by J. Wells and co-prod. by Knotch and Battlecat.

You know what kills me? CELEBRITIES!!! First, many of them act as if they are above the law or when they get caught for doing something outrageously stupid, they then want to cry like babies or blame hackers. Remember it was about two weeks ago when Rep. Anthony Weiner claimed that someone hacked his weener (get it….weener) onto twitter, now after a hateful rant on facebook towards some fan, the alleged facebooker, Soulja Boy is next in line hollering his facebook account was hacked.
According to Soulja Boy, his Facebook account was hacked resulting in the negative postings. Now, in a statement to TMZ, Soulja says, “I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked.” He explains, “I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I’m upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person.” (TMZ)
Someone sign me up for the hacking committee. And ‘watch me youuuu.’
