Mannie Fresh speaks about not being involved in new Big Tymers Album

My question is, Why in the hell would Cash Money put out a Big Tymers album without Mannie Fresh? When I think of Big Tymers, I think of a Mannie Fresh track, a basic but catchy Mannie Fresh verse, a typical Baby verse and a dope Lil Wayne feature. Overall, a nice club banger is what I am expecting to hear from them. To be honest, I think Weezy, Drake and Baby together on a album would be huge for Cash Money and would be much more anticipated than trying to re-do something that has already been done. Check out what Mannie Fresh had to say about it….

Mack Maine, T.I., Lil Wayne’s Family Blast TMZ For False Reporting

Super Bowl party sponsored by Lacoste and Mercedes-Benz

By Sowmya Krishnamurthy

Celebrities have been speaking out and blasting TMZ for its reporting about Lil Wayne. Yesterday, the breaking news outlet shocked the entertainment world by stating that Wayne was in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. They went so far as to claim that Wayne was in an induced coma and his last death rites were being read as doctors awaited for his mother to arrive and make final decisions on what to do with her son (which they later deleted from the article).

Members of Wayne’s camp, like Birdman and Mack Maine, shot down TMZ‘s claims and told fans that the rapper was “recovering” and Weezy himself later confirmed on Twitter that he was doing just fine.

Birdman tweeted, “My son is in good spirit..feelin much betta…be home soon,” but YMCMB prez Mack Maine had a few choice words for TMZ, criticizing the site for what he deemed incorrect reporting. “We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…that’s false!!” and “#F—TMZ.”

Wayne’s daughter Reginae took to Instagram to share her thoughts, writing, “Don’t listen to The Lies, I swear there all lies TMZ you a fool 18h” while her mother, Wayne’s ex-wife Toya Carter, added, “It would be a much better world if people would stop and think before they spread RUMORS.”

T.I. also threw in, “Just holla’d @my Lil bruh Tunechi… he skraight! TMZ some f— n—-z for reporting that hoe-ass-sh–!!! That man daughter is like mines. That sh– surely got his mama hurtin, his kids hurtin, he got true to da game patnas like me Othas who ready to RIDE bout all da f— sh–. … #nowthankitsagamen—-!!!”

Lil Wayne ask for forgiveness from LeBron James and the city of Miami

lil-wayne-e1348757637309

Maybe Lil Wayne has a soft spot after all. Remember a few days ago, a video went viral of the YMCMB rapper dissing the hell out of the Miami Heat and a few of it’s player, as well as calling himself the new Pac (Tupac Shakur) in his reference to sticking Heat’s player, Chris Bosh’s wife. Well, he most had a sit down with someone who told him to reflect on what he did and if it was a good thing do to, because he sat down with Miami, FL 99 Jamz radio station personality, Felicia Monae to issue an open apology to the entire city of Miami for calling out its local team, well Lebron James because of their friendship and he knowing Bron’s mom. He however said that he doesn’t apologize for that night.

“I don’t apologzie for that night. I don’t apologize for being who I am. That’s who I am. This is who I am and yes I did say those things.”

Asking if he apologize for calling himself the new Pac and saying he smashed Chris Bosh’s wife? As simply put, in his own words, “That ain’t important.”

pac and wayne

“I ain’t 2Pac, I’m the new Pac. Holla at cha boy.” – Lil Wayne

If you thought comparing rough sex to the late Emmett Till was enough, what about making self comparisons to 2Pac? Well, how about calling oneself 2Pac? Being obviously upset about being banned from all NBA Events by NBA team, the Miami Heat, YMCMB rapper Lil Wayne went on a tantrum to which he dissed the Heats and its fellow players Lebron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade, he then went on to call himself the new 2Pac. And it seem as if to a great surprise, he didn’t receive any boos from the crowd. Remember Pac’s infamous record Hit’em Up, to which he introduction had this to say to the late Notorious B.I.G.: “That’s why I F***’d Your B@#$% you fat MuthaF****?” Well, Lil Wayne, seeming to be referencing Pac’s Biggie diss, claims to have sex’d Chris Bosh (Miami Heat)‘s wife. Has he gone too far? It’ll be interesting to see what’ll happen next.

——————————————————————————————————————————
Emmett Till was enough, who in 1955 was visiting family in Mississippi, was murdered by a mob of angry white men for allegedly whistling at a white woman. He was only 14. 2Pac in 1996, died several days following a Mike Tyson fight in Las Vegas, Nevada due to complications from multiple gun shot wounds. He was only 25.

50 Cent imitates Lil Wayne’s deposition video when speaking about MMG Gunplay

The funniest video ever done by a hip hop artist was the deposition of Lil Wayne when going through the lawsuit matter against QD3 . Wayne lost the counter-suit, however one could never forget the footage of Lil Wayne seeming to threaten Quincy Jones III’s lawyer, Peter Ross when asked a certain question, to which Wayne’s response was “I was talking to myself”, amongst other things. G-Unit honcho, 50 Cent must had thought it was hilarious too, as he imitated Wayne when speaking about Maybach Music (Rick Ross) rapper, Gunplay. During the interview with Booska-P, a french rap website, 50 talked growth as an artist/entrepreneur, Mobb Deep’s fans turning against them, ending beef with Fat Joe (Terror Squad), etc.

Drake, Lil Wayne and Birdman ‘Disrespects’ Judaism in HYFR video (see making of the video below)

What has YMCMB done to Aubrey Graham’s ego. Dude is crazy talented I admit. But where’s the integrity? Where’s the respect? I’m by far not ‘holier than thou’ but is 2012 all about GOING OVERBOARD TO STAY RELEVANT? First Nicki Minaj with her RAUNCHY, less than classy ‘STUPID H@%’ song and video. Now DRAKE with this? From what I know about being Judaism, we’ll depending on one’s view of G-d is that, it’s nothing to be played with. I do hope many Jews see this video and speak out against Drake, his YMCMB and Universal Music Group about this mess. The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson was forced to alter his lyrics to ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ (Dangerous, 1991) because of the “Jew Me/Sue Me” line, to which many Jews cried out ‘antisemitism’. Although Drake is Jewish (African American father, Caucasian Jewish Canadian mother), it’s still distasteful and like spitting in the face of the patriarchs of the Jewish culture. I usually don’t go on an attack about one’s freedom of expression (First Amendment). Yet if you’re Jewish or have some understanding about the religion, then get what I’m saying.

Drake ft. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne – The Real Her

So Drake has finally received his wish; which is a verse from 3 Stacks (Outkast) on a song entitled ‘The Real Her’, lifted from his soon to be released sophomore album (Take Care). I’d be the first to admit that “I absolutely hate this song.” And I’m not being bias; however, Stacks sounds like Dre’s uncles on this joint. In other words, though not a competition, but he’s schooling this young man. However, I still hate the song and no it’s not questioning if Dre is falling off or not. It’s just too long and boring with unmeasurable expectations for a 3 Stack verse.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to go to the site below to hear the verse with 3 Stacks. And in all honesty, if I were you, I’d skip to 4:11 minutes into the song.

Cash Money CEO’s bought the Carter IV to platinum?

Did digital and physical sells of the Carter IV (Lil Wayne) go platinum because fans love Lil Wayne so much? Or was it that Cash Money Records CEO’s and brothers, Bryan “Birdman aka Baby” Williams & Ronald “Slim” Williams purchased hundreds or thousand of copies of the album? An artist album being shipped platinum by their record label isn’t anything new. Got to make back the money somehow right?

The Birdman has also denied speculation suggesting his label may have boosted sales by buying Weezy’s LP.

“Nah, man, that really don’t make no sense. Why would we do that?” he said. “I press and distribute ‘em. Ain’t no need for me to buy ‘em. That’s hustling backwards; we ain’t in it for that. I ain’t ever been a part of that type of scheme to be buyin’ records. We don’t do that, homey. We be working too hard to be — that don’t go with what we do. We truly what we do. We’re real about what we do, we work hard every day at it, and we work for the people. That’s what we do music for: for people. And we appreciate the love they give us back. But no such thing as me buying no CDs. I wouldn’t even play it like that.” (MTV)

Regardless of the underline matter right now, Lil Wayne has once again proven he gots what it takes to reach platinum status.

‘Jay Z isn’t tripping off Lil Wayne’

Yes that’s right. Jay Z isn’t tripping off Lil Wayne and his ‘little’ disses. Why? Because Jay Z is a brand. Just ask music business mogul Steve Stoute about whether Mr. Sean ‘Jay Z’ Carter will respond to Lil Wayne’s diss. (It’s On, Lil Wayne ft. Drake & Jadakiss)

“For Jay-Z to do anything that resembles moving backwards right now would be insane,” Stoute explained in an interview. “And a Jay-Z beef is moving backwards. Jay is so much bigger than rap at this point. He’s a movement. And that’s where his head is at. That’s where his focus is. And no one is on his level, even worthy of him battling with. No one. So you probably won’t see that happen.” (You Heard That New)

Agreed? Will Jay Z respond to Lil Wayne? Even silently?

Stay tuned…

Lil Wayne ft. Tech N9ne & Andre 3000 (Interlude)

It’s getting hot in the rap biz. I’m talking about Jay Z and Kanye West having recently released the near platinum selling ‘Watch The Throne’ album and now the Young Money CEO and Cash Money Records spitter, Lil Wayne is expected to release another platinum album ‘Carter IV’.

Speaking of Lil Wayne, after releasing a bomb (It’s On) last Friday, due to the Carter IV being leaked, there’s another bomb exploding right now. This bomb, which will also appear on the Carter IV features Tech N9ne and 1/2 of Outkast, Andre 3000. Now when I first heard this track, I was like dangggggg, Tech N9ne is killing it and was hoping that 3000 was going to release a beast. However, I thought…it was alright and that I expected more. But being that 3000 is…….you know…3000, I definitely had to take another listen. And I must say, Dre got the skills that will have someone putting his verse on repeat over and over and over again. If you don’t believe me, listen for yourself.

Is yelling out SOO WOO in the rap game a trend now?

Lil Wayne doesn’t deny dissing Jay Z but has this to say

It gets no crazier than this. Lil Wayne has opened up about his verse on the song ‘I’m Good’, which features one of his Young Money Records comrades, Drake and none other than Jadakiss (LOX). About his verse, which seems to be taking shots at Jay Z, Weezy had this to say:

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It ‘s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.” Wayne added that while he understands the intrigue and buzz behind the record, it’s just another song. “I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say [something on record],” he explains. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.” (VIBE)

Perhaps Weezy was serious when he mentioned a while back that he would retire. Would Jay Z be the one to do it?
