There was a hip hop showcase at Mao Livehouse in Beijing, China which I was honored to perform in alongside my homeboy B.O. (Break Out) from Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky (Russia). It was also our first time performing together. The unique part about it is that I can’t even speak Russian. Yet the coolest part about it all is that two dudes from two different sides of the planet with two different native languages can get together and put on a CLASSIC performance. Saigon wants to punch rappers like Rick Ross and 2 Chainz for releasing detrimental music and corrupting the youth which are their biggest listeners. I searched Saigon on YouTube and found a song he recorded with Styles P, an artist that also release the same type of music from an east coast point of view. Styles P was featured on Rick Ross’s break through hit “B.M.F.” which isn’t the type of music you would want your children to listen to either. Together they recorded a song promoting drugs, violence, and money . In fact, the song below “Not Like Them” by Saigon featuring Styles P has parental advisory content also. What do you think about Saigon’s comments?

BREAKING NEWS: Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin Gunned Down
Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin, known for his Brick Squad Monopoly affiliation with Waka Flocka Flame, was reportedly gunned down Friday (December 16) in a Georgia recording studio. It has been reported that the shooting took place as he was on his way to a photo shoot. He later died at the Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta, GA). Atlanta Police Department investigation say that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was fatally shot in the chest at around 5:30 P.M. after he got involved in a verbal altercation with another individual.
Police are still searching for the murder weapon and possible suspects.
Maj. Keith Meadows said police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building in southeast Atlanta at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places. “We’ve questioned a number of witnesses inside the recording studio at this time.” Meadows said. Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening. (CBS News)

I know you all are like this cat has been on some West Coast ish lately, from discussing Game’s album, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Tha D.P.G.C. (Tha Dogg Pound). Well you know….I just make it do what it do and capitalize off of all things ‘superb.’ So on that note, I present to you, after funky Snoop Dogg joint ft. Uncle Chucc, entitled ‘Wonder What It Do’ off Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary album, produced by the legendary DJ Battlecat, one of Snoopy’s long time producers and hit maker behind many of those classic West Coast tracks. And you thought the West only has the Good Doctor (Dr. Dre).
This video features cameos from a few of your music and/or entertainment favorites alongside so beautiful women. Snoop’s Uncle Reo also makes an appearance in the video. There are also a few other things to look out for, such as a beautiful painting of the late Dogg Pound crooner, Nate Dogg. “Snoop why didn’t you invite me to the video shoot mayne?” The video looks like they all had a lot of fun.

The Game and Snoop Dogg collaborating for a ‘Watch The Throne’ album?
Seems like the recent release and success of the ‘Watch The Throne’ album (Jay Z and Kanye West) has sparked some kind of inspiration for a lot of rappers. And what better rapper knows how to show that something inspired him none other than the Aftermath Records West Coast artist, Game, who in an interview stated that he would roll with rap veteran Snoop Dogg if given an opportunity to make a joint LP.
“If I had to link up with someone on the West Coast, first and foremost it would be Snoop – Snoop is my dude, that would be crazy, that would be a crazy collaborative effort right there,” Game said in an interview. “[Does the West need a Watch the Throne-esque album?] I don’t think the West Coast needs anything, I think we’ve been perfectly fine doing what we been doing forever, the West don’t need nothing we straight, we get everything we need — we got the DUB! We the only Coast that can throw up the DUB so let’s ride with that.” (Dubcnn)
The Game is infamous for making sure his stamp is laid down on the pavement, having did multiple mixtapes, including a 20 minute freestyle over Jay Z and Kanye West’s ‘Otis’ track, from their Watch The Throne album.
What would Bigg Snoop Dogg do if Game presented this idea to him? In my opinion, it would definitely be a SMASH.
