Well surely you’ve all heard by now the BREAKING NEWS regarding the reconciliation of one time partners, Suge Knight and Snoop Lion aka/formerly known as Snoop D-O-double G, who started his music career via Knight and former partner Dr. Dre’s then label, Death Row Records imprint. Clearly it’s the most surprising reconciliation ever to date in music and hip hop history, topping the once heavy beef that was squashed by the two Kings of New York, Nas and Jay Z, as the Jigga Man stunned the crowd on the set of his “I Declare War” concert(1995) in East Rutherford , NJ when saying these words, “Let’s Go Esco”, to which the Queensbridge eMCee joined him on stage. Not many music moguls can celebrate a reunion or reconciliation as egos are way too heavy, especially in hip hop. In the words of Sleepy Brown “Cuz everybody wants to be a tough guy”. Another reason is that either one of both artists, crews, etc. are now deceased, some in tragic situations before there could ever be an official reunion. And another serious issue is MONEY. Many artists are enslaved to their labels and any association or reunion with a former comrade, according the label, ruins the possibility to make more money. So for that matter, those artists tends to ride for their label, bearing the pain of not being able to reconnect with their old homies again.
As for the case with Suge and Snoop, who’s long period infamous beef didn’t end with neither of them getting killed, THANK GOD; what happens next? What does their reunion mean to all whom stood by either or both throughout the last 16/17 years of the two being at odds? What are people saying about Suge? What are they saying about Snoop? For many, Suge is one of the most feared men on the face of the earth, while Snoop on the other hand, is the world’s favorite UNCLE, can do whatever he wants, including CHANGING HIS NAME (see Snoop Lion) and no one will trip. What does this mean for Snoop’s relationship with is mentor Dr. Dre and Tha Dogg Pound? What does this mean for the Bloods & Crips street gang?
Regardless whether it has any meaning or not, PEACE is BETTER THAN WAR. Hey, they may never become the best of friends again. However, they both can exhale. To give meaning to their reconciliation, it’s their business and they don’t have to answer to anyone for that matter. Was it a none gangster move for them to PEACE UP? Naw, what it did was SOLIDIFY what it means to be gangster. And at the end of the day, BEEFING DOES NOTHING BUT WASTE TIME!. So what happens next between the two? Guessing we’ll have to wait and see. Yet in the meantime, SALUTE to Suge Knight and Snoop Lion for being “G” about it.
It was during a recent trip to Jamaica to which rap legend, Snoop Dogg made a transformation into Snoop Lion, now embracing the Rastafari movement. Snoop promise there is to be much to come of it, and to signal it, a few months back, he dropped his first single ‘La La La’ under the Snoop Lion moniker. Now, he just released the official for the title track, and perhaps now it’s official.
In the introduction for the video, Lion is surrounded by children who either seem to have a liking for Lion, Dogg or both. Well, this led to a ritual-like ceremony to which there was a funeral to signal of the death of Snoop D-O double G. as Snoop was closed into a casket holding a dog, only for him to appear resurrected adore a lion’s skullcap, signaling his transformation into Snoop Lion. It’s a fun celebratory video indeed, yet the D-O double G. will be missed however. But for those whom rocks with Snoop, will get used to the Lion. By the way, be on the look out for Snoop Lion’s ‘Reincarnated’ album coming soon.

Just last week , after giving you Snoop Dogg’s ‘Road to Riches’ Doggisode #19, we’re back with Doggisode #20, with Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion & Tha Dogg Pound in Budapest. In the short video, Snoop ran through some of his classics (notice I said some, as there are too many to name) such as Drop It Like It’s Hot, Young, Wild & Free and La La La, the debut single from his forthcoming album Reincarnated. He also got up and personal with some of his fans, allowing them to come backstage for a personal interview with the Dogg aka Lion. One fan that made her way backstage is this chick named Bianca. Happy she was she to meet the S-N double O P. as she got the chance to speak with him personally as well as getting graced with a kiss on the cheeks plus an autograph signed by the king of West Coast. Stay tuned for Doggisode #21.

Keeping it all in the family as I earlier presented to you the video for Kurupt’s Money (Do It For Me) ft. RBX. Now I’m back with another long awaited Doggisode classic. It’s always a feel good moment whenever the DPGC (Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips) get together. From Bigg Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt Young Gotti, RBX, Soopafly, Warren G and the rest of the Dogg Pound Gangsta family, it’s always a gangster party. Here in Snoop Doggisode 19 show footage of Snoop and the guys rock the mic at an Adidas concert. The boy Game came through as well as the legacy DMC of the legendary hip hop pioneer group, Run DMC who performed one of those Run DMC classics, ‘My Addidas’, alongside Snoop, Game and Kurupt. Want to get the full scoop of the video, then watch it right here.
You know I grew up in the 80s and 90s era of hip hop and gangsta rap. And if there was once person whom knows how to mix the two so well, it’s Kurupt Young Gotti, 1/2 of Tha Dogg Pound and long time friend of Calvin ‘Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion’ Broadus. Kurupt’s a beast and can outdo any emCee on the West Coast. Rupt was born in Philadelphia yet moved to Inglewood, California in his early teens where he met Snoop then went on to help formulate one of the most notorious hip hop labels ever at that time, Deathrow Records (Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger). It’s 2012 and he’s about to drop his new mixtape entitled “Money Bitches Power”, as he teamed up with Los Angeles mixtape DJ, Mike Bean.
The first single off the mixtape is Money (Do It For Me) featuring the legendary RBX, production by J. Wells and co-prod. by Knotch and Battlecat.
Snoop is back on his Dogg ish, as he drop his latest video entitled, Super Mario Bros., which is based off the old Nintendo game of the same name. Looking at the title, one may think it’s a friendly game about a video game. But think again. The song is actually about PIMPIN. If anyone can rap about pimpin, then it’s Snoop D-O-double G. Not to mention, he brought a little surprise guest to the mix. His oldest son ‘Spank’ aka Spanky Danky (you wonder why) joins his Super dad on the track. Like father, like son.
Check out Super Mario Bros. by Snoop Dogg and his son ‘Spanky Danky’.
Paris Hilton has let out her inner gangster, thanks to Snoop ‘Lion’ aka Nemo H@$s, his character on GGN News. She drunk it like a champ. Now that’s O.G. Youngsters may not know what a 40oz. is, yet it’s that Colt 45 ‘hood’ classic drink. For those whom has yet to see epic movies like Boyz N Da Hood (John Singleton) and Menace II Society (Allen and Albert Hughes), they should check them out.

Is it so? Will ‘Tha DoggFather’ aka Calvin Broadus be formerly known to us as Snoop Dogg? Is ‘Snoop Lion’ it now? Recently, the king of the West Coast took a trip over to Jamaica and was so inspired by the culture. While there, he gained interest in the Rastafari movement and acquired a new found wisdom. In addition, Snoop is working on a documentary regarding his ‘road to redemption’, or perhaps transformation from the Dogg to the Lion. From MTV’s Sway Calloway, Complex Magazine to FUSE TV, he talks about the reason for his new moniker and the direction he’s planning to go with it.
See below ‘Snoop Lion’s’ interview regarding his new moniker.
Snoop Dogg aka Nemo H@$s in one of his comedic modes. HILARIOUS hearing him talk about smashing Madonna, calling her a GRANNY, John Travolta handling ‘sacks’.
Anchored just released a video for their single “Throwin Down“, produced by Jay Baumgardner and features the legendary Bigg Snoop Dogg with additional vocals by Terrace Martin. Snoop came with it and Anchored created a smash.

In most recent news concerning the Good ‘Doctor’, he alongside Bigg Snoop Dogg has been rocking the Coachella 2012 Festival. It’s quite befitting being that it’s the 20 yr. anniversary for the original Chronic album, to which both Dr. Dre and at the time named, ‘Snoop Doggy Dogg’ introduced the world to that West Coast G-Funk sound on their past Deathrow Records label, which Dre co-founded with Suge Knight. Dre and Snoop has been rocking Coachella. Of course the one time Deathrow Records signee, the late Tupac Shakur was resurrected from his ashes for the festival as well. Yet Dre promised that the usage of the Tupac hologram is ‘only’ for Coachella.
Check out Dr. Dre speaking on the Tupac’s Hologram.
2Pac’s back and he’s no longer mad at Dr. Dre for leaving Death Row Records and Snoop for not getting involved in the media hyped ‘East Coast vs. West Coast’ (Bad Boy vs. Death Row) beef. Pac is not really alive. However, a hologram was created to make it appear that he was actually performing alongside his one time label mates at the Coachella 2012 festival.
Check out the hologram set with 2Pac on Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg set at the Coachella 2012 festival.
Oh ish. Snoop is at it again. The king of the West Coast is putting together a hemp material made book of lyrics that you can literally smoke. Readers don’t have to go to the corner store to by rolling papers because, the book pages itself are made of rolling papers. The pages can be read and then smoked as the book comes with a strike board on the spine, so users can light matches off it. It also features Snoop’s hand written imprint to some of his classic songs, such as “Gin & Juice”, “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang”.
Check out this video of Tha Doggfather promoting his ‘Rolling Words: A Smokable Songbook’.
WHOAAAAAAAAAA! This lil dude is what’s poppin right now. I was watching one of Snoop Dogg’s GGN News episode and towards the end, there was this featured video called ‘Gangsterize’ by a new Southern California artist named Indian Blue ft. Kokane. Well if you’re familiar with West Coast gangsta rapper, then I’m sure you’re familiar with Kokane aka Mr. Jerry Long (Pomona, California), a DPGC/Doggystyle Record affiliate and once signed to the late Eazy E’s Ruthless Records label, co-writing songs for N.W.A. and Above The Law. Therefore, I don’t even need to mention that Kokane is a beast in his own rights. But now let me take you over to the new school of West Coast gangsta rapper and talk about Indian Blue. You know what? Forget it. See for yourself.
Check out “Gangsterize” | Indian Blue feat Kokane below.
All I have to say is WOW. With all of my hard work and dedication to all of my involvements, I must say that a vacation to Brazil is much deserved. The bigg homie Snoop D-O dub knows how to motivate a homeboy. Oh and my homeboy E-Sun would be happy the picture for this post is so big. Chucch!

The King of the West Coast is back with another Doggisode video. Hopefully the Bigg D-O-double G. Keep it coming with these footages. But the funny part about this video is that Bigg Snoop Dogg is wearing the Eddie Long shirt. You’ll see what I mean as you watch the video. Yet he still manages to keep it G(angster) alongside his crew and celebrity homeboys from Daz Dillinger & Kurupt Young Gotti (Tha Dogg Pound), Soopafly, DJ Battlecat, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Capri makes a camero and a few others.

Tha Bigg Boss Down went in on Kim K. He spoke on her like a real O.G.
“Advice for Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian,” Snoop asked in the video. “The first advice is, you dumb a** n*gga, you shouldn’t have tried to wife the b*tch, man. She’s not that type of a h*e. She gets around, man. … Ray J’s the only n*gga that only bounced back from the b*tch, man. She’s cold-blooded. I’m pretty sure she’ll have a book in a month talking about all the n*ggas she got and how she played them. So my advice is, you can’t make a h*e a housewife, man. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Let her do what she was born to do. H*e. Yeah. H*e. Punk b*tch.” (GGN)

Snoop Dogg is the man for sure. One thing about Snoop is that he knows how to connect with the little homies. Whether it’s The Game, Bow Wow, Souljah Boy, Pilot, Snoo’s Youth Football League, (DPG Records) and now Wiz Khalifa, Tha Bigg Boss Dogg has never in his career not supported the little homies. These days, he’s been kicking it with Wiz a lot. They’re doing it all together: smoking weed, chillin, making movies (Mac and Dev), touring. The whole 9.

Who would have ever thought in a miillion years that a rapper would be a co-host on one of the most popular game shows of all times? Either the show is dropping in ratings, in jeopardy of getting the boot after 56 years on on air time, or it’s getting cooler. Perhaps the latter is the reason. And guess who it is? Tha Doggfather himself, Bigg Snoop Dogg. That’s right, Snoop joined comedic host Drew Carey to create what is the greatest hip hop-daytime TV collaborations in history. (Huffington Post) Certainly starting the year 20/12 off right. Fo shizzle Dizzle!
OMG, this dude is beyond SICK. Crazy on the mixer. If you don’t know about DubStep, it’s the new musical genre rising in North America but popular in England, as it was originated in south London, United Kingdom. Even rappers like West Coast Snoop Dogg affiliated EMCEE, Goldie Loc (Tha Eastsidaz, Tha Dogg Pound), Will.I.Am, LMFAO to name a few are all blending their urban sounds to DubStep.
Check out AraabMuzik killing it with his DubStep sounds.
You know it’s love when these two vets get together. And that is Dr. Dre and Bigg Snoop.

I know you all are like this cat has been on some West Coast ish lately, from discussing Game’s album, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Tha D.P.G.C. (Tha Dogg Pound). Well you know….I just make it do what it do and capitalize off of all things ‘superb.’ So on that note, I present to you, after funky Snoop Dogg joint ft. Uncle Chucc, entitled ‘Wonder What It Do’ off Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary album, produced by the legendary DJ Battlecat, one of Snoopy’s long time producers and hit maker behind many of those classic West Coast tracks. And you thought the West only has the Good Doctor (Dr. Dre).
This video features cameos from a few of your music and/or entertainment favorites alongside so beautiful women. Snoop’s Uncle Reo also makes an appearance in the video. There are also a few other things to look out for, such as a beautiful painting of the late Dogg Pound crooner, Nate Dogg. “Snoop why didn’t you invite me to the video shoot mayne?” The video looks like they all had a lot of fun.
