Is it so? Will ‘Tha DoggFather’ aka Calvin Broadus be formerly known to us as Snoop Dogg? Is ‘Snoop Lion’ it now? Recently, the king of the West Coast took a trip over to Jamaica and was so inspired by the culture. While there, he gained interest in the Rastafari movement and acquired a new found wisdom. In addition, Snoop is working on a documentary regarding his ‘road to redemption’, or perhaps transformation from the Dogg to the Lion. From MTV’s Sway Calloway, Complex Magazine to FUSE TV, he talks about the reason for his new moniker and the direction he’s planning to go with it.
See below ‘Snoop Lion’s’ interview regarding his new moniker.
Snoop Dogg aka Nemo H@$s in one of his comedic modes. HILARIOUS hearing him talk about smashing Madonna, calling her a GRANNY, John Travolta handling ‘sacks’.
Jody Breeze, an original member of Boyz In DA Hood is back with a solo mix tape entitled “Airplane Mode” hosted by DJ Bobby Black. I haven’t heard much from Jody Breeze since the diss song he made about Young Jeezy a little while ago, but he is definitely coming wit it on this “I’m on One” freestyle.
If you haven’t checked out the original version by Lil Wayne and Drake, click here….. I’m On One
Are you a Goodie Mob fan? I know I am! I been rockin wit these dude’s since “Get Up Get Out”. It’s been a long time coming, the Goodie Mob is baccck!!!! “Is That You God?” is the type of song I expect to hear coming from the G-Mob. Everybody bussin on the song with a nice wholesome hook. Kinda remind me of something from the classic “Soul Food” album. I highly recommend that you listen to this song and support good music. Shout out to T-Mo, Khujo, Ceelo, and Big Gipp!!!
Another hot single from 2 Chainz! He’s on tour with Drake now and it seems like every new single he put out there catch on fire. I guess when it’s your time to shine, everything just fall into place. Check out “Riot” by 2 Chainz!
In most recent news concerning the Good ‘Doctor’, he alongside Bigg Snoop Dogg has been rocking the Coachella 2012 Festival. It’s quite befitting being that it’s the 20 yr. anniversary for the original Chronic album, to which both Dr. Dre and at the time named, ‘Snoop Doggy Dogg’ introduced the world to that West Coast G-Funk sound on their past Deathrow Records label, which Dre co-founded with Suge Knight. Dre and Snoop has been rocking Coachella. Of course the one time Deathrow Records signee, the late Tupac Shakur was resurrected from his ashes for the festival as well. Yet Dre promised that the usage of the Tupac hologram is ‘only’ for Coachella.
Check out Dr. Dre speaking on the Tupac’s Hologram.
Maybe the trend for 2012 is for rappers to sign LEGENDS to their labels, as Baby & Slim signed Busta Rhymes and Mystikal to their Cash Money Records label and now, Kanye West has signed A Tribe Called Quest’s, Q-Tip. Q-Tip did some production on both Ye’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Family’ album as well as the ‘Watch The Throne’ album to which Ye collaborated with Jay Z.
Tip broke the unexpected announcement Wednesday (April 11) morning via a statement.
“I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label,” said Q-Tip. “I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history. To reconnect with Barry Weiss is a great thing. As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.” (Statement)

Now he didn’t actually sing this for real as he did ‘Let’s Stay Together’ by Al Green at the Harlem’s Apollo Theatre. This is actually a dub over President Barack Obama’s many political speeches, yet funny indeed.
Check out a video dub of U.S. President Barack Obama singing ‘Sexy and I Know It’ by LMFAO.
While responding to a question asked regarding the shooting death of 17 year old Travyon Martin, who was gunned down by a self proclaimed neighborhood watch officer, George Zimmerman, former Black Panther turned congressman, Bobby Rush was removed from the floor of the United States House of Representatives after adorning a hoodie in his speech about civil disobedience. Rep. Gregg Harper of Mississippi read a clause stating the prohibitions of “wearing hats in the chamber while the house is in session.” But what would be said of a Muslim sitting in the house? What about the The First Amendment law which states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances”. Is there a double standard?
Right when I started to laugh, my face dropped in pure disbelief. Maybe dude was just trying to be funny and perhaps that’s why he has many views on World Star Hip Hop; consequently, I’m sure many like me thinks this guy is a DOUCHE BAG for sure and I do hope he reads this post. I pray that he is just clowning around because I’d hate to see him be anybody’s father. Yet if he is serious, then I do hope he’s paying child support and that the judge somehow get a hold of this video and raise the support for his child, though the baby mama will be the one profiting from it more.
P.S. I don’t hate you because you’re fat. But I hate you because you’re IGNORANT.
The King of the West Coast is back with another Doggisode video. Hopefully the Bigg D-O-double G. Keep it coming with these footages. But the funny part about this video is that Bigg Snoop Dogg is wearing the Eddie Long shirt. You’ll see what I mean as you watch the video. Yet he still manages to keep it G(angster) alongside his crew and celebrity homeboys from Daz Dillinger & Kurupt Young Gotti (Tha Dogg Pound), Soopafly, DJ Battlecat, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Capri makes a camero and a few others.

To be quite honest, since the late great King of Pop Michael Jackson rocked the halftime show at Super Bowl XXVII (1993), there has yet to be any other Super Bowl halftime performance that great or have come even close. There has been some good ones and with Madonna rocking the crowd at this years Super Bowl XLVII, the expectations are high. Though she’s the queen, the diva has a lot to prove. And with Nicki Minaj joining her for the 12 minute halftime performance, it gots to be right.
“Super Bowl rehearsals w/the Queen —-> RT @HumbleNika: @NICKIMINAJ what does your agenda contain today Nic? ,” she tweeted January 27th. (Nicki Minaj’s Twitter)
Though Madonna in a recent interview has claimed that there will be no wardrobe malfunction (sans Janet Jackson at XXXVIII), expect for it to be one HOT halftime performance. Whether it will be good or mediocre (which is bad for someone like Madonna), it will be one talked about event.
Things Gangsters Should Not Say isn’t really the title of it because when you watch the video, you’ll know what’s up. It’s definitely funny for real. Had me rolling from beginning to end.

Gotta love the interet. I just got turned onto this chick today and oh man, she’s HOT. Hot definitely as in sexy. I think I’m going to marry me an Aussi now. haha. But for real, not like I wasn’t for real about what I just said but getting to the music, I’m really digging this Iggy Azalea girl. She’s a fresh breath in Australia for sure and with her now under the Def Jam umbrella, I see her taking the industry by storm. She’s like Lady Gaga off crack meets Nicki Minaj on the KING magazine cover meets the Madonna’s 90′s sex appeal. Lyrics aren’t all that, typical female braggish type. But she got it to make it.
Why don’t these two just step in the ring and go bar for bar already because all of this subliminal flow is adding fire to the fiery or however it goes. Drake is letting the old heads know that he ain’t scared to go pound for pound/toe to toe with them. Though he didn’t mention Common (who seemed to be taking shots at Drake on his ‘Sweet’ record), it might just be that.

Well danggggggg. He went WFF on son. Dude isn’t a real eMcee. Within the context of a freestyle battle, anything goes as far as what your opponent might verbally throw at you. Sure, it’ll make you want to throw some blows; however, that’s what the microphone is for. If you can take the heat in a battle, then almost nothing in the world could phase you. Guess everybody isn’t ready for that.
Who would have ever thought in a miillion years that a rapper would be a co-host on one of the most popular game shows of all times? Either the show is dropping in ratings, in jeopardy of getting the boot after 56 years on on air time, or it’s getting cooler. Perhaps the latter is the reason. And guess who it is? Tha Doggfather himself, Bigg Snoop Dogg. That’s right, Snoop joined comedic host Drew Carey to create what is the greatest hip hop-daytime TV collaborations in history. (Huffington Post) Certainly starting the year 20/12 off right. Fo shizzle Dizzle!
You know it’s love when these two vets get together. And that is Dr. Dre and Bigg Snoop.
Check out Snoop Dogg’s ‘Road to Riches’ Doggisode # 13 video as it has behind the scenes footage of Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre in Singapore for the Asian Music Awards.
There seems to be no known greater songwriter and entertainer other than the King of Pop himself, the late Michael Jackson. Scheming through some unreleased songs and footage of the pop icon, I ran across ‘We’ve Had Enough’ which serves as a song expressing frustrations with relationships, injustice, selfishness of the world and other troubling issues. It definitely has a message and touches the soul.
